Employees periodically take leave. When replacements cannot clock in using the time clock module, you must reassign the shift to another employee. This article explains how to reassign a shift to another employee.
Complete the following steps to reassign a shift to another employee:
- From the Scheduling + home page, select Scheduling > Manage Schedule.
- Double-click on the schedule of the employee whose shift requires a change. The Edit Shift screen is displayed.
- Select the new employee for the shift using the Employee drop-down menu.
- After making the changes, enable the Publish button, and then select Save & Close.
These steps efficiently reassign shifts to another employee to ensure smooth operations.
You can also drag and drop the shift to reassign it to the desired employee.
