You can copy and paste shifts to duplicate existing shifts across eligible employees. This helps you create schedules faster by reducing the need to enter similar shifts manually. Copying and Pasting Shifts
To copy shifts, complete the following steps:
- From the main navigation menu, select Scheduling and then select Manage Schedule. The Scheduling page displays.
- Locate the shift you want to copy.
- Hover over the shift card and select the three dots menu.
- Select Copy. The copied shift displays a Copied label with a pulsating blue outline.
The header updates to show Click to paste shift - saves immediately with options:
- Done
- Undo All
- An information (i) icon with details on how pasting works.
- Hover over any eligible cell to see the paste icon. For empty cells, the icon appears on the entire cell. For cells with existing shifts, the icon appears at the end of the current shifts.
- Select the paste icon to paste the copied shift. The pasted shift displays as an unpublished shift, with a pulsating blue outline.
- Repeat step six to paste the shift into multiple eligible cells.
- When finished:
- Select Done to keep all pasted shifts and exit the copy mode.
- Select Undo All to remove all pasted shifts and exit copy mode.
This completes copying and pasting shifts from the Scheduling screen.
