Create a Shift From a Template

Using any existing template, you can manage shifts by providing a consistent framework, minimizing errors, and saving time, thereby enhancing overall efficiency. This article explains how to schedule shifts for an employee using existing templates.

Complete the following steps to create a shift from an existing template:

  1. From the Scheduling + home page, select Scheduling > Manage Schedule.
  2. From the Manage Schedule screen, select the Expand Icon.png icon next to Templates. The Templates menu is displayed.

  3. Drag a template into the desired shift block. If the employee is available, the shift schedule is displayed in white, allowing you to assign the template. If the employee is unavailable, it turns maroon s_maroon.png, preventing you from assigning the template. Template_Gif.gif

Note: Select the appropriate template based on the employee's position. For example, if the employee is a cashier, select only the cashier template and avoid choosing any other template.
