Managing Time Clock Entries from the Attendance History screen
Adding Time Clock Entries
To create a new time clock entry from the Attendance History screen, follow the below steps:
From the menu bar, select Time Clock> Attendance History. The system displays the Attendance History screen.
Select +Create to add a new time clock entry.
The Create Time Clock Entry pop-up appears.
Select the blank spaces below the clock entries to add new clock-in and clock-out times for desired employees. You can select the existing time clock entry to edit the value.
Select the Employee Name, Job Code ID (if enabled), Position, Date, Time In and Time Out for the desired employee.
Select Save to add the entry to the attendance history.
Editing Time Clock Entries
To edit time clock entries from the Attendance History screen, follow the below steps:
Select Edit Mode from the top-right corner of the Attendance History screen.
Select the blank spaces below the clock entries to add new clock-in and clock-out times for desired employees. You can also select the existing time clock entry to edit the value. You can view the logs by mousing over the pen icon next to a modified entry.
Double-click the shift box under the Details column to add notes to the desired shift.
If you want to download the Attendance History in Excel or PDF format, Select Export.
Managing Time Clock Entries from the Employees’ Timesheet screen
Adding Time Clock Entries
To create a new time clock entry from the Employees Payroll screen, follow the below steps:
From the menu bar, select Time Clock>Store Employees’ Payroll to open the payroll information of the employees in your selected store.
Or, from the menu bar, select Time Clock>All Employees’ Payroll to open the payroll information of all the employees in your company.
The system displays the selected payroll screen.
Select the desired employee from the payroll table to open their timesheet. The system displays the timesheet of the employee.
Select +Punch to create a new time clock entry. The Create Time Clock Entry pop-up appears.
Select the Store, Job Code ID (if enabled), Position, Date, Time in and Time out for the selected employee.
Select Save to add the entry to the employee’s timesheet.
Editing Time Clock Entries
To edit time clock entries from the Employee Timesheet screen, follow the below steps:
Select Edit Mode from the top-right corner of the Employee Payroll.
Select the blank spaces below the clock entries to add new clock-in and clock-out times for desired employees. Also, you can select the existing time clock entry to edit the value and view the logs by mousing over the pen icon next to a modified entry.
Double-click the shift box under the Details column to add notes to the desired shift.
If you want to download the employee’s timesheet in Excel or PDF format, Select Export.
Adding and Editing Meal Breaks
Using the Create Break Entry window, you can add clock entries for the meal break. Depending on time clock settings, you may need to distinguish which break time you want to add i.e. either Meal or Regular (Paid). To add and edit breaks, follow the below steps:
Select Edit Mode from the top-right corner of the Attendance History or the Employee Timesheet screen.
From the Break Out and Break In column, select the add button. The system displays the Create Break Entry pop-up.
Select the desired Break Type i.e. Meal or Regular.
Select the time in and time out for the break.
Select Save to add the break entry to the attendance history.
You can view the logs by mousing over the pen icon next to a modified entry.
